I am happy to announce that (insert company here) is crowdfunding a 0% interest loan on Kiva. Kiva is the first and largest micro-lending service in the world that has distributed $709 million over 10 years, in 85 different countries, among 1.5 million small businesses.
I am currently in a private fundraising period, during which I have 15 days to get XX lenders in order to make it on the public platform where anyone on Kiva can lend to me. The funds from this loan will go towards (insert short description of loan use).
I would like to ask you to lend as little as $25 (which you will get back!) so that I can progress to the public fundraising period. I hope you're doing well! I recently sent you a message about my 0% intererst loan on Kiva for my business. I'd really appreciate it if you could lend as little as $25! (If it is appropriate, consider asking for more).
This loan is important because it will allow me to _____. In case you lost the link, here it is again: (insert your loan profile link here).
Again, this is a loan, not a donation, so your money will be returned as I pay back my loan. Your support has always meant a lot to (insert the name of your business here) as well as myself. Hope that you can help with a loan of $25 and share this with your network!

Public Fundraising Period:
Consider using the following template throughout the public fundraising period. Make sure you're not spamming your contact list, so customizing it is key. Try to focus on specific people you can reach out to and personalize your email.

Phone Call Guide:
Start by making a list of people in your network you want to call, and keep track of their lending over time. When you talk with someone on the phone, you should explain the following points:
- Why you are asking for a loan. Make sure they understand how will it help your business and community.
- You are asking for a loan, not a donation. Everyone will be paid back when you repay the loan.
- They can lend as little as $25.
- Explain that you think of them as a close friend that you can count on for support.
- Urge them to act now and lend immediately.

- Have pictures: Use images of yourself and your business to gain more attention. Lenders can become new customers as well, so make sure to update them about your business!
- Thank lenders: Show your appreciation to and build connections with the people who have supported you.
- Utilize other's networks: Ask lenders to share your invitation link within their own networks, further increasing your reach.
