Inviting and Endorsing Borrowers

 

 Support entrepreneurs in your community by inviting them to Kiva.

Empower your community by inviting entrepreneurs you think might be a fit for Kiva’s loans.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to invite and endorse borrowers.

 

  1. Create Your Profile

Let us know why you want to become a Trustee to receive an application. Your profile will appear on your borrower’s public loan profile. Make sure you give some thought to the questions in the Trustee profile!

2. Invite Borrowers

The easiest way for you to get started is to invite potential borrowers in your community who could benefit from the Kiva program. Check out some of our templates to help spread the word about Kiva!

 

3. Endorse Borrowers

When a borrower has started an application, you can endorse them from your dashboard– all we need is their name and email address and you’ll be on your way! Once a borrower is endorsed, they must approve your endorsement.

 

Every Trustee has their own dashboard where they can manage their impact to date as well as see all borrowers that have been endorsed.
We’ll showcase your impact over time as you endorse more and more entrepreneurs in your community.
